About me
As the son of Iranian immigrants, I grew up in Berlin and learned early on how to balance between two cultures. After graduating from high school, my path led me to England, where I first studied nutritional science and then psychology. I was particularly influenced by the humanistic psychotherapists – Rogers, Frankl, and later Erickson – whose potential-oriented approach shaped my therapeutic thinking.
After completing my master's degree, I returned to Berlin. Parallel to my systemic training, I founded a social enterprise in the field of democracy education, which is now established nationwide. The goal was to develop new concepts of political education for socially disadvantaged target groups and to implement them sustainably in practice. During this time, I gained extensive experience in educational work with challenging youth and took on responsibility in the establishment, management, and strategic development of the company.
After seven years in management, I shifted my focus to psychotherapeutic work. Since 2018, I have been running a private practice in Berlin and additionally work online with clients both in Germany and abroad.
One of the greatest and most beautiful chapters of my life is family life with our twins – an experience full of challenge and wonder that has deepened my life in the most beautiful way.
